Pray for Our Nation!

Scripture exhorts us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, ” that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”

1. Pray that God will continue to bless our nation with a good government that can make wise and sound decisions that cater to the long-term well-being of the nation.

2. Pray for a strong government that will be empowered to take moral leadership in the nation. For the Bible says, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34)

3. Pray that God will grant wisdom and guidance to our Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his Cabinet as they prepare the next generation of leaders for succession. Pray that the right person will be identified to be the successor to PM Lee.

4. Pray that the next generation of leadership will work well with Singaporeans to take the country to new heights in the coming years.

5. Pray for God to continue to advance His kingdom purposes through the government, the society, and the Church of this nation.
