August Prayer Pointers:

Let’s pray for our nation as we’ll soon be celebrating the 54th year of our nation’s nationhood this month.

1) Call upon God to move in our nation.

2) Thank Him for how He is working in and blessing our nation!

3) Leaders – Pray for wise leaders whose hearts are set out to seek justice, and righteous moral standards  for the nation.

4) Peace – Pray for the way of peace and reconciliation in our nation’s relationship with other nations, that we may be a shining beacon of light for the nations, beyond national and ethnic differences.

5) The Gospel – Pray for wisdom, boldness, and continued freedom to openly speak of Jesus Christ. Pray for more labourers for the gospel to go out from and through Singapore, into the nations.

6) Social needs – Pray for more aid and ministry to be directed to the poor & needy, the young and elderly, & to migrant workers who contribute to our nation.

7) Growth in Economy – Pray that as our economy grows, affluent believers will remain strong in Christ and not become ineffective worshippers.

8) Health and Education – Pray for all residing in our nation to enjoy health and healing. Pray for holistic education to nurture not only our young but also provide life-long learning in every discipline and walk of life.

9) Prayer & Worship – Pray for houses of Christian prayer and worship to arise in every constituency in the nation.
