As we enter into a new year, let us confess of our need of God’s presence and His guidance as we face the future.

As we look back over this past year let us thank God for His goodness to us-far beyond what we have deserved. May we never presume on His past goodness or forget all His mercies to us, but may they instead lead us to repentance, and to a new commitment to make Him the foundation and center of our lives this year.

Let us ask God for His strength and wisdom to meet the challenges ahead and humbly put our hands into His to trust Him and seek His will for our lives in 2018.

Let us commit our families, our church and our nation to God and ask for His mercy and goodness upon us all for yet another good year in the Lord!

Let us thank God for the promise and hope of this new year as we look forward to it with expectancy and faith!
